Varun Khandelwal re-enters Diya Aur Baati Hum!

Actor Varun Hemraj Khandelwal, gets back to the show again.

The lives of Suraj and Sandhya have taken a different turn post the plane hijack drama in Shashi Sumeet Mittal’s much loved show Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus.

As Sandhya is going through a tough phase of her life, where she has been abandoned by her family members and she has no one along with her, it’s time for her brother to take her responsibility who will re- enter the show to support her in her trying time.

Our source states, “Varun Hemraj Khandelwal aka Ankur is all set to re-enter the show again to support his sister. After separating from her family and husband Suraj (Anas Rashid), Sandhya (Deepika Singh) has lost all hopes of getting back on the right track. Her brother Ankur becomes the Regional head of a very big company and he chooses to get posted in Pushkar between Delhi and Pushkar so that he can be with his sister.”

“After he learns that Sandhya has been boycotted by her family, Ankur loses his cool over the Rathi family and questions them for one thing that how can they abandon her. He also says to the Rathi family, that Sandhya doesn’t deserve members like them,” adds our source.

Elated on getting back to the show, Varun told us, “I had no clue that I will be back in the show but my Mom believed one day I will re-enter the show. I am very happy and excited to be back to the show. It’s a brilliant show with a great team of actors, writers and brilliant producers. It feels good that lots of people still recognize me as Ankur. I am hoping for the best.”
