Raju Hirani is a genius: Rajeshwari Sachdev

Very talented actor-singer Rajeshwari Sachdev, who made her comeback with the Life OK show Laut Aao Trisha, is enjoying her character Lavanya in the show and thinks it is very colourful and humane. “The character I am playing in the show is not absolutely black or white. The actor, who was on a break also added that she returned to television as she can give more time to her work given the fact that her kid has now grown up.

The actor also revealed that she would love to work with Vishal Bhardwaj and Rajkumar Hirani. “Nowadays many talented directors are there, many good projects are being made, so it is difficult to choose any particular one. Still if you ask me to choose one, it will be Vishal Bhardwaj and Rajkumar Hirani.”

Talking about his husband, actor Varun Badola, who recently made it to the news for keeping Karwa Chauth fast for her, Rajeshwari candidly added that it was wonderful to see her husband do the same. “All the while he complained about me keeping fast for him, now he has finally started appreciating it”.

The actress who is known for being a singer as well said that she is currently continuing with her stage shows but might take up singing more seriously in the near future.
