Actor Omkar Das Manikpuri to make his debut on television with the show ‘Santoshi Maa’..
Actor Omkar Das Manikpuri, who played the role of ‘Natha’ in the movie ‘Peepli Live’ has now turned to make his debut on television. The actor who is also known for acting in theaters will now enter the show ‘Santoshi Maa’.
According to a report from a daily portal, the actor will play an uncle to Ratan Rajput. His character in the show is named as Janardan. Omkar was also quoted saying that he has been a theater actor and it’s been from there, that he choose to do films. However, he did not have any plans to do TV. But since it was a mythological show, he thought it would be unique.
Also, actress Juhi Parmar, Gracy singh and many such actors are part of the show. The show will soon be aired on &TV showcasing the life struggles of the characters and how goddess Santoshi helps them lead a better life.
We tried reaching Omkar but our efforts turned futile.
