Mehul Vyas roped in for Sony TV’s Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar

We reported yesterday about youngsters Rohan Shah and Yatin Mehta playing the sons of the estranged couple Ronit Roy and Pallavi Kulkarni in Balaji Telefilms’ new offering Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar on Sony Entertainment Television.

We now hear that the talented Mehul Vyas, who played son to Indira Krishnan in Sony TV’s Krishnaben Khakrawala, will play the to-be son-in-law of Ronit.

A source tells us, “Mehul’s character will be very colourful in terms of look and attitude towards life. He will have a character similar to that of Govinda’s in Raja Babu. Though his name would be Jignesh, he would find it difficult to pronounce the letter ‘h’ and will call himself Jignes. His will be a typical Gujarati character, fun-loving with a comic punch to it.”

The daughter of Ronit Roy and Pallavi will be played by newbie Rhea Sharma. Nishi, her character will fall in love with Jignesh and theirs will be a cute love story.

When contacted, Mehul confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I will play the boy friend of Ronit and Pallavi’s daughter. However, I cannot talk about the show right now.”
