The popular Zee Tv show to call curtains..

The show, ‘Tashan-E-Ishq’ was a massive hit amongst the fans and it was a pleasant surprise as the show did not boast a ‘star power’ cast starring Sidhant Gupta, Zain Imam and Jasmine Bhasin and had a relatively new storyline.

And it is just fifteen days ago, that the show celebrated the completion of one year. However, after all this success and some controversies, according to a leading news daily, the show is all set to go OFF-AIR on September 16th.

It is disheartening news for all the ‘Tashan-E-Ishq’ fans, however, is true. The show went through a major transformation recently when the lead of the show, Sidhant Gupta was replaced by actor Naman Shaw for the role of Kunj.

It was termed to be a major step and a sceptical one as the popularity of Sidhant was a benchmark for the successor. However, to everyone’s surprise, Naman was accepted as Kunj and it did not hamper the ratings.

We contacted Naman, who said, “Yes, it is really saddening that the show is going off-air. However, we cannot really help it. The show was in the Top 10 last week and this week too was encouraging.”

We asked what exactly is the reason for the show to call it quits, to which he said, “We are not really clear on the same. We all have our assumptions that it is A and it is B, but don’t really know the exact reason.”

We asked about his short stint and he exclaimed, “It was an amazing stint where I really enjoyed being a part of the show. I was really looking forward to doing this show as it was a youth based show with a romantic angle. I do not regret a single moment of it and loved being on the show.”

We also asked if the actor already has plans for the future, where he said, “Nope, nothing planned as of yet. Once the show ends, it’s a fresh start.”
