Swati Anand joins the cast of Razia Sultan to spice up the show
Soon the Razia will embark on her new journey to become the next Sultan of Delhi on And TV’s Razia Sultan.
For the upcoming track, popular actress Swati Anand, last seen on Pavitra Rishta, has been roped in to play a pivotal role.
We got in touch with Swati to know about her character for which she said, “I am playing the character Begum Shabana, the first wife of Iltutmish and step mother to Razia. She left Itutmish as he got married to two other women. To make claim her son’s rights of being the next sultan, she has come back. My character has grey shade and will be there for quite a long time because as per history, Shabana’s son killed Razia and became the Sultan.”
