What fascinated you to do a show like Hum Hain Na?

I wanted to do something really different, interesting and nice after Balika Vadhu. As a fiction show, this was really nice amazing. Sony TV has come up with a show and concept like this for the first time. Different show with a unique concept fascinated me to take up this show.

You are been seen after a very long time in a fiction show. How was it facing the camera after so long?

Fiction show wise it is very different and it has been a very long time that I will be seen on television. So, I truly love this feeling to be back with a new show again. I am just loving every bit of it and living full on, whole heartedly.

Hum Hain Na has just aired for a week and people are liking the show. How is it to get such an amazing response so soon?

Both Kanwar Dhillon and I are getting amazing response and people are really loving it. We have been given amazing names by our fans. People like us and our work so it is obviously an amazing feeling that I am getting.

How is your character in the show?

The character has a lot of shades. She is a normal, simple and nice girl. The story is not about her getting a guy but these two people click to each other. Both of them have their own individualistic and both of them are different people. Both of them have different stories to say. One thing that matches and is similar between the two is that the girl wants a sensitive guy and Bunty is that sensitive guy.

How is it playing a Bengali character, you being a Bengali?

I am super happy about playing a character of a Bengali girl. I am too excited as well because I am a fully fledged Bengali so it gets even simpler for me to essay the role. I am thoroughly enjoying.

Any message to your fans…

All I want to tell them is guys, the wait is over and and your Pratyusha Banerjee is back. Love me and love me more and more. I really need your support as it is a huge challenge for me.

We wish Pratyusha all the good luck for her new show.
