Fireworks Productions most popular and the longest running show CID which has reached the peak of success, today successfully completed the journey of 18 long years. It’s a remarkable achievement for the team of CID to reach such a milestone.
The show has never lost its charm and thus has become the backbone of Sony TV. In Sony TV where many shows were pulled off air, CID sustained its position with its rating on the channel. Topping the chart with good numbers, no other show was in the contingency to compete with this show.
Each character in the show has made its distinct identity in the show such ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam) is famous for asking question with a hand gesture, Daya (Dayanand Shetty) is famous for breaking the door and so on. Though their style is same with from past many years but still it is patent one and continues to be used in the show.
We got in touch with ACP Pradyuman aka Shivaji Satam to know about his experience for which he said, “Today when people recognize me as ACP Pradyuman, it really feels good because they love me and appreciate me for my character. Audience trust me for the character which I play in the show. Working with the cast and crew of CID gives me a homely feeling. It was an amazing experience, its been a pleasing journey of CID.”
We further asked him about is there any celebration for the achievement to which he said, “As of now there is no celebration but for us everyday is a celebration for us on the sets of CID.”
To commemorate the success and celebrate the occasion of Republic Day, a special episode has been shot for the viewers as well as for the loyal fans of the show.
Commenting about it our source says, “On Republic Day, CID will be airing a special episode where the team will be seen enjoying with the school kids. They will be hoisting flags and singing National Anthem with kids.”
