Sid Makkar to play the lead in Ila Bedi Dutta’s ‘Lajwanti’ on Zee TV

Producer Ila Bedi Dutta’s Trilogy Media Pvt. Ltd. will soon be back on Zee TV (its last show on the channel was Hitler Didi) with a new project titled ‘Lajwanti’. As reported, the serial will have a periodic setup and will revolve around the era of partition between India and Pakistan.
After an extensive hunt, Lajwanti has gotten its leads.
Playing the role of the suave, sophisticated, smart and intelligent lead guy will be the talented actor Sid Makkar.
Sid as we know, is presently seen as the lead in the Epic TV show, Dariba Diaries. Sid is known for his versatile acting, and has done the TV shows Mere Apne and Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan. He has been part of movies like Chaurahen, Luck By Chance, Dus Tola and few more.
As per a reliable source, “Sid Makkar has been finalized to play the male lead. And the girl cast opposite him is a newbie named Ankita Sharma.”
When contacted, Sid Makkar told us, “I will be able to talk to you on this very soon.”
We tried our level best to get in touch with Producer Ila Bedi, but she remained unavailable.
