Shruti Kanwar in Colors’ Code Red

Code Red, the latest show to depict crime and fight against it is all set to hit TV screens soon on Colors.
We had earlier informed about Nirav Soni and Srman Jain being part of the second episode and now we have details that pretty actress Shruti Kanwar will essay the lead in the episode.
The episode produced by Rise Sunshine Productions will have Shruti playing the character of Anjali who will be duped by the guys (Srman and Nirav) into drugs. They will then force her into prostitution in exchange of her drug demands.
How the girl will go through hell in the process and then decide to fight back will be for viewers to see.
Talking on the same, Shruti quipped, “It was a very challenging role and I enjoyed playing the character. I really learnt a lot through the episode and I am sure people will get strength to stand against oppression through our story.”
Code Red is set to launch from 19 January.
