Star Plus show Nisha Aur Uske Cousins has stolen audience’s heart by Nisha’s power packed entry in the first episode. To know more about the show and the characters we got in touch with Purvi Mundana who is playing the role of Dolly in the show. In conversation with us she talks about the character, experience and many more things.
Elaborating on her character she says “Dolly is over expressive, she is a drama queen. She always overreacts to a situation and believes in love at first sight. In short Dolly is completely opposite to Purvi Mundana, I don’t relate to my character in anyway so its very interesting and exciting to play this.”
When asked about the challenges of playing the role, she says “I always try to make my character, Dolly, interesting. I find ways to make this character lovable for audience. I feel, for an actor doing something different is always challenging and as an actor it gives us a space to improve ourselves.”
Is this her first show? Answering to this she says “This is my first show, It was very difficult for me to get into acting because I don’t belong to Mumbai. After struggling hard I started doing advertisements. I always wanted to play unusual character, something which audience can relate and Dolly was exactly that character. It is the beginning of my dream and I am enjoying it.”
Sharing her experience of shooting she says “Experience was very good, we all have become like a family. I like the concept of the show, it is very innovative; I enjoy shooting each scene as they all are fresh. We all share very good equation, I am very diet conscious so they are always amazed when I don’t have sugar in my tea and I am very regular about work out.”
How important this show for you is? “This is a very big platform for my career, I always had one thing in mind that my first project should be very interesting and yes I was very happy when I got to do this. I hope that audience like my character and I promise them to entertain them.”
