Life OK’s Mahakumbh to go off air on 9 July

Arvind Babbal’s supernatural mytho thriller Mahakumbh, which started on a very promising note, is all set to bid adieu.

Starring Gautam Rode as the lead, the fiction show, which was supposed to be a finite series of 120 episodes, will air its last episode on 9 July.

A source informed, “Mahakumbh was supposed to be a finite series and the makers are in no mood to stretch it any further. With the series coming to an end, the creative’s are all set to tie up all loose ends and tread towards an exciting climax. The actors will wrap up shooting by next month”.

Mahakumbh which replaced Mahadev, was launched in a bigger scale but unfortunately received moderate success. Though the series could not gain the popularity as it was expected, nevertheless the actors won accolades from audiences for their brilliant performances.

The daily also featured Seema Biswas, Payal Rajput, Manish Wadhwa, Surekha Sikri, Ketki Dave in prominent roles.

We buzzed the actors for confirmation, but they remained unavailable.

According to media reports Sudhir Sharma’s new show, Siddhi will replace Mahakumbh.
