The hunk of Indian television who made and still makes many women go weak in their knees is not too keen on taking up any television assignments soon. For the moment, it is Bollywood that is his prime focus and not television. All set to make his foray with Alone opposite Bipasha Basu, Karan reveals that he has also inked a three-film deal with the producers. As films will take up his maximum time, television has been put on the backburner by Karan for the moment.

“I am not going to do television very soon. You could see me doing that in future. For the moment, I have a three film deal with Kumar Mangat (Producer). So lucky me,” reveals Karan.

Karan also doesn’t appreciate when people call moving from television to films as transition. For him as long as the art form is acting, be it television, films or theater, there is no transition or progression just because the medium is different.

Explaining the same, Karan says, “Let me clear a few things. There is no transition or progression from one medium to another. It’s the same art form on different mediums. So we need to stop defining it or calling it a transition because whether you are acting in films, television or plays you are ultimately acting. The art form remains the same.”

We agree Karan!
