You have seen your favorite stars acting with perfection on-screen but do you know how many hurdles they have to cross to bag a role? They have to go through various auditions to get a role. We all cherish the memories related to our first day’s experience of anything. Similarly an actor always cherishes his/her memories related to their first audition.

We quizzed actor Mohit Malik who essays the role of Samrat in Zee TV’s popular show Doli Armaanon Ki about his first audition and memories associated with it.

Talking about his first audition he says, “No, I was not nervous during my first audition but yeah I was not confident enough too. I went with mixed feelings for my first audition. For me giving audition is always like a task which I wish to achieve.”

Talking about of transition seen in the format while taking auditions Mohit says, “In my opinion I feel the way auditions were taken earlier was not so good. Some people purposely make you feel nervous. Well I feel this is not the case today. The artist is made comfortable first so that he gives a power packed performance.”
