Actor Neil Bhatt of Diya Aur Baati Hum fame, is all set to entertain us with Zee TV’s new show Tumhi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi, produced by Shashi Sumeet.

We got in touch with the actor to know about his role, show, co-stars and more. Read on:

On taking up this new project, he shared, “The best part about the show is its unique concept. It will teach us to love and respect our family members. It is a very positive show as there are no vamps and melodrama. It is not a regular TV serial that we have been watching all this while!”

Talking about his role, he stated, “My character of Bhushan is a family-oriented boy, but at the same time, he loves Shreya (Sreejita) too. In Pethawala family, this will be the first love story. Bhushan will have to balance his family and love life and what all he would go through is for the audiences to watch.”

The cast is pretty huge, how’s the bonding? “The cast has become like a family now. I believe that onscreen bonding should lead to offscreen attachment as well as this helps in improvising the scenes.”

After Diya Aur Baati, this is your second show with Shashi Sumeet, so how has the association been? “There’s a beautiful admiration between us. Shashi Sumeet knows what my requirements are and its always great working with them.”

What was your reaction when you got to know Sreejita would be playing your love interest in the soap? “I was quite happy and thrilled to work with her. I think she knows her job very well. I was mentally relaxed when we shot our first scene. We connect very well and don’t have to really work on our chemistry. We never discuss our scenes before as spontaneous reaction is very important.”

Intimate scenes have become a regular feature on television, would you be going the kissing route as well? “No, I am not comfortable kissing on-screen.”

All the best , Neil!!!
