Renowned actor Akhil Mishra who essayed the famous role of Lal Bahadur Shastri in the series Pradhanmantri will soon be entering Colors’ popular show, Udann (Guruodev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada).

He will be playing the role of Aabha’s (Dolphin Dwivedi) uncle who would be the principal in the school in Azaadganj. He will team up with Aabha and try to convince Kamalnarayan (Sai Ballal) to send Chakor (Spandan Chaturvedi) to school again.

A source states, “Akhil Mishra’s character would be shown as a shrewd and intelligent man who would talk in a very convincing manner with Kamalnarayan, and tell him that if he would send Chakor to school, he could very easily wipe off the rumours floating about him having kids as bonded labourers. Also, if he would send Chakor to school, it will help him in getting a good political stability too.”

In a way, Akhil Mishra’s character will be very important to the coming story line as he will be one of the helping hands for Chakor to blossom and spread her wings.

When contacted, Akhil Mishra told us, “I am excited to play this role in Udann. However, you will have to call me back for details. I cannot comment further right now.”

Akhil is even today remembered for his fabulous portrayal as Umed Baldev Singh Bundela in Colors’ long-running show, Uttaran.

The actor will start shoot for Udann from today, and his entry will air soon.
