Talented Shakti Arora who essays the role of Ranveer in Colors’ Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi faced difficulty while shooting a scene.

Actors life always seems beautiful from outside but someone has truly said that ‘All that glitters is not gold’. Looking at actors we always think that they must be living a leisure life and that’s why many of us aspire of becoming an actor. But an actor has to go through a lot and has to take painstaking efforts to execute a scene with perfection.

While shooting for a prison sequence Shakti got bruises on his hand as the scene required bashing and assault on the actor who was accused for attempting rape on Ishaani’s (Radhika Madan) younger sister Disha. Though the scenes on screen were executed with perfection, Shakti was badly injured during these scenes in real.

We got in touch with Shakti and he says, “In this episode we had to portray third degree torture given by police person but while shooting I actually experienced third degree torture. We shot for three days for this sequence and there was a time when a real muck was thrown on me, while assaulting I got 25 wounds which are still not recovered. I have injured my ribs , lips and other parts of the body.”

Earlier as well Shakti fell ill while shooting for a rain sequence and this sequence too was shot in the rain as he again fell ill. Talking about the same Shakti says, “We shot in the rain due to which I am suffering from cold. While shooting in the rain without footwear, earthworms kept crawling on my legs. So all and all it was a hectic and tough shoot but I am happy with the results which I have seen on my TV screen.”

We appreciate your efforts Shakti and wish you a speedy recovery!
